Refund Policy for In-House Financing &  Regular Purchases


Effective Date: 9/1/24

1. Overview

Le’Coeur, Inc.  (“Company”) is committed to customer satisfaction. This policy
outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may or may not be issued for purchases made with or without financing.

2. Refund Policy for Regular (Non-Financed) Purchases
Customers who purchase products or services without financing may be eligible for a refund under the
following conditions:

Eligible for Refund:

  • The product is unused, unopened, and in its original condition.
  • The return request is made within 30 days of purchase.
  • The product is defective or incorrect, and no suitable replacement is available.

Non-Refundable Items:

  • Used, opened, or altered products.
  • Services that have already been provided.

Refund Processing:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • Sale or promotional items.

3. Refund Policy for In-House Financing Purchases


Customers who finance their purchases through Le’Coeur, Inc.’s in-house financing must adhere to the following refund terms:


A. Down Payment Policy

  • A down payment is required at the time of purchase to secure financing.
  • Down payments are non-refundable, except under the limited circumstances listed in Section 3B.
  • The down payment is applied toward the total financed balance and does not constitute a separate charge.

B. Refund Eligibility for Financed Purchases

Refunds on financed purchases may be considered under the following conditions:

  • The product or service was not delivered as outlined in the financing agreement.
  • The financing agreement is canceled within the 3 day cooling-off period (if applicable under
    state law).
  •  A defective or incorrect product was provided, and no suitable replacement is available.
  •  A refund request is made before any products or services have been rendered, subject to an administrative cancellation fee of 15% of the down payment. 

     

  • We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    If your return is accepted, we will instruct on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

    Damages and Issues
    Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we evaluate the issue and determine a solution. 


    Exceptions / Non-returnable items
    Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


    Exchanges
    The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


    European Union 14 Day Cooling Off Period
    Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


    Refunds
    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Non-Refundable Conditions for Financed Purchases

  • No refunds, including down payments, will be issued in the following cases:
    The customer voluntarily cancels the financing agreement after products or services have been provided.
  •  The customer fails to meet financing obligations under the agreement.
  • The product or service has been used, altered, or is no longer in its original condition.
  •  The refund request is made after the eligible refund period has expired.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, customers must:

  1. Submit a Written Request – Email info@lecoeurcosmetics.com or call 855-LECOEUR (532-6387)within 3 days of the purchase or financing agreement.
  2. Provide Required Documentation – Include proof of purchase, financing agreement details (if applicable), and a clear reason for the refund request.
  3. Review &; Processing – Refund requests will be reviewed within 7 business days, and a decision will be communicated to the customer.

Refund Issuance:

  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method or applied as a
    balance adjustment for financed purchases.
  • Any refund of the down payment (if applicable) will be processed within 14 business days, minus any administrative fees.
  • Early Payoff & Cancellations for Financed Purchases
  • Customers may pay off their financed balance early without penalties (if applicable).
  •  If a financing agreement is canceled before product/service delivery, a partial refund of the
    down payment may be issued minus administrative fees.
